The CBFW210 will add two (2) FireWire 1394a ports to your laptop computer with ease. With FireWire 1394a connectivity, you may connect your digital video camcorder to your laptop computer with the included cable, and easily transfer and edit your video recording you recorded from your camcorder with the bundled free video editing software. Plus it will also make a good connection for your FireWire 1394a based external hard disk drives, or DVD writers. Dual (2) 400 Mbps FireWire/IEEE 1394a ports to 32-bit CardBus PC Card. Fully supports provisions of IEEE 1394-1995 standard for high performance serial bus and the P1394a supplement. Fully compliant with 32-bit CardBus and PCMCIA Type II specification. Comes with two (2) 6-pin standard connectors. Supports up to 63 devices in peer-to-peer configuration. Compliant with Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) 1.0 specification.
